INTRODUCTION This field trip has been selected to expand knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the art form. The trip will give the students many important points about the “Phantom of the Opera” that not everybody knows about and that are considered like the most important characteristics of the play

The Phantastic Facts • The chandelier weighs 545.5kg (1200 lbs..) • It has 56 light bulbs and a total voltage of 1850 watts 12 volts • 230 costumes. 150 pairs of shoes. 70 wigs

Conclusion Now in the tenth record breaking year at the Historic Pantages Theatre in downtown Toronto, the original Canadian production “of the Phantom of the Opera” continues to enchant audiences as Canada’s longest running musical. The Story’s compelling blend of romance and horror is brought to stunning life by Lloyd Webber’s sweeping melodies and dramatic score.
