The Theory And Practice Of Democracy In Virtual Worlds

Inaugural lecture of the CRAEDO Auditorium in Second Life's Colonia Nova Island. The objective of the talk, in analyzing the nature of democracy online is that of persuading the listener that the online worlds cannot exist in isolation, and that they are interdependent with the real world. This mutual influence is a non-zero sum game, beneficial to both, and it is up to the new to shake up the old, it is up to the online world to lead.
